While denying Wall Street Journal’s report that he intends to donate $45 million monthly to Trump’s campaign funds, Elon Musk says he supports the former US president in his reelection bid. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO praises Trump for his instinctual courage to continue his campaign despite the alleged assasination attempt on his life last July 13 in Pennsylvania.
He added that his support for the former US president is not based on “personality cult” but more on having a set of shared principles.
Elon Musk Develops a Non-Partisan “America PAC” Committee Instead
Elon Musks is instead promoting a non-partisan Super Pac Committee that he created and calls America Pac. Described as a non-partisan political action committee, Musk says it can be used to help both Republican and Democratic candidates in their respective political campaigns.
When donating money directly to candidates the amount thàt would go to a candidate would be fairly small. As opposed to donating via à political action group’s super pac like America Pac, the amount that can be used in helping candidates will be unlimited.
The Tesla CEO claims that the intent of America Pac is to uphold the principles that make America greater. Yet in the meantime, Musk shared a fake, AI-generated campaign video of VP Kamala Harris, without mentioning that he picked it up from a Conservative YouTuber who clearly labelled the video as a parody of Kamala’s campaign ads.
