You may have already heard of the rumor that the biggest celebrities and personalities today are secretly members of a secret order called the Illuminati. Some of the popular names linked to the Illuminati are Oprah, Lady Gaga, Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and many more. According to popular media, the Illuminati is a group comprised of only the powerful and influential people that have the ability to manipulate the public. As a group, they can cause major events and conflicts that will force people to act according to the Illuminati’s wishes.
It is widely believed, particularly by conspiracy theorists, that the Illuminati aims to submit all nations under one rule, which is to be called the New World Order. When this happens, the end of the world will be upon us. These things sound scary indeed, but if you want to feel much better, all these rumors will stay as that: rumors. There are no solid evidences that the so-called Illuminati group exists today. Although, if you do a little bit of research, you would know that the Illuminati, or the Bavarian Illuminati to be exact, was actually born in the early centuries. Founded by Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776, the Illuminati aimed to search for the path to enlightenment. It is expected that such group would be born in the Enlightenment Era, a period when people wanted to have a better understanding of the world.
In spite of the Bavarian Illuminati’s seemingly good intentions of searching for answers, the government and other influential organizations like the Church heavily opposed this movement. There were many misleading reports made in order to bring the Illuminati order down, and ultimately, these efforts succeeded.
